چکیده

A limitation of conventional MIP in thermal and mechanical stabilities condition, improper porosity low adsorption capacity, give a reason to introduce sol-gel method molecular imprinting process recently. In this study, synthesis new molecularly imprinted polymer (SG-MIP) was studied for crystal violet (CV) selective recognition. The control non-molecularly (SG-NIP) also synthesized as reference. preparation SG-MIP introduced by combination the organic inorganic mixture. solution included methacrylic acid, trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate, benzoyl peroxide which are monomer, crosslinker, initiator, respectively. involved ratio tetraethyl orthosilicate: ethanol (1:1 v/v). functional group analysis proved successful SG-NIP. indicated high stability SG-NIP, morphology surface analyses showed respective different structures, surface, values between influence selectivity study behaviour toward CV adsorption. result verified that (4.900 mgg-1) has higher characteristics compared SG-NIP (4.432 mgg-1). equilibrium data kinetic isotherm studies were well-fitted pseudo-second order model (R2 = 0.9997 R2 0.9996) Freundlich 0.9500 0.9764), supported Scatchard plot instead Langmuir model.

Whole Cell Imprinting in Sol-Gel Thin Films for Bacterial Recognition in Liquids: Macromolecular Fingerprinting

Thin films of organically modified silica (ORMOSILS) produced by a sol-gel method were imprinted with whole cells of a variety of microorganisms in order to develop an easy and specific probe to concentrate and specifically identify these microorganisms in liquids (e.g., water). Microorganisms with various morphology and outer surface components were imprinted into thin sol-gel films. Adsorptio...

Selective Deposition of Biocompatible Sol-Gel Materials

An aqueous sol-gel route has been developed for electrochemically controlled deposition onto micro and nanofabricated electrodes. TEOS and MeTEOS were hydrolyzed under acidic conditions, and alcohol products were removed by distillation. The resulting clear sol has a hydrolysis ratio between 40 and 45. Following hydrolysis, pH was raised to 5.0 with addition of potassium hydroxide. At room temp...
